CASNIC
Casnik (Nicolás Castillo) is an Argentine DJ/ Producer, originally from City Bell, La Plata. Since he was a child he felt music in a special way. He began to experience everything he felt inside through movement, taking dance classes and going through various musical genres to learn the essence of each one and understand the different states of mind.
At the beginning of 2018 he began his career in the dj world, setting himself the premise of transmitting what music provokes in his senses and generating in the public that magical connection with the melodies he selects.
During 2019, he has shared the booth at events with top-level national artists such as Elio Riso, Jay de Lys, Bodeler, Matias Sundblad, LeFrak, Cordoba, Super, among others. He has also had a leading role in booths in other cities such as San Pedro, Mercedes, Azul, Tandil, Olavarria, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Pinamar and Monte Hermoso, in outstanding nightclubs such as Esvedra, Vita, Input, Brandy, Club Quba (MDQ ), Mute (MDQ), Mr. Jones (MDQ), Opium (Tandil).
In 2020 is where he began to connect with new genres such as Progressive House and Melodic House, whose sounds have led him to venture into more emotional and deep melodies to continue perfecting himself and thus produce his own music within these genres.
In 2021, he moved to Tulum, where he began to open new horizons and continue to fulfill his goals, playing in clubs in Playa del Carmen, Holbox and Tulum; where he had the pleasure of being part of the line up with international DJs such as the Pan Pot duo, Roy Rosenfeld, Marcel Dettman, Armen Miran, Sam Sure, Gux Gimenez, Adi Dassler among others.
In 2023, he began his development in the world of music production with his first release in June of that year for the Droid9 label, as well as with upcoming releases to be released on the AH Digital, South America Avenue and Anoka labels.
